| I understand what a difficult issue this is. No one wants to make a decision to end a pregnancy. Even young women, however, should have the right to choose whether they want to have a child or not. They should not have the decision made for them by others. | |||

| I believe that TABOR needs to be repealed. Cutting funds to human services, education or public employees is punishing the people who work for our state and need the state's help. I think most Coloradans would give up a small tax savings if the funds benefited the infrastructure, education and services in our state. I realize that this would be a lengthy process, so the immediate solution is to re-index The tax tables to adjust for inflation and to sequester the Hospital Provider Fees to make them available for Schools and Health Care. | |||

| Yes | d) Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting? | ||
| No | e) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls? | ||
| There is way too much involvement by PACS and corporations in our political process. I want to see Citizens United overturned, and a much more fair method of drawing district boundaries. I am opposed to any laws that make it more difficult for people to vote, or that disenfranchise any group. | |||

| Yes | f) Do you support the state government providing college students with financial aid? | ||
| Yes | g) Should illegal immigrants who graduate from Colorado high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities? | ||
| I think that there should be a careful vetting process for any charter school before they are given any public funds. They should meet all accredited academic standards. I think that parents who wish to send their child to a religious school should not be given taxpayer money to do it. | |||

| Yes | g) Do you support allowing doctors to prescribe marijuana to their patients for medicinal purposes? | ||
| I would rather see reform to the health insurance industry and improvements to the ACA than forcing people to buy insurance. However, in the current system, we need enough healthy individuals paying for insurance to support the program. I want to see increased competition between insurance companies and incentives to prevent them from pulling out of states because they don't feel they are making enough profit. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support same-sex marriage? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Colorado's anti-discrimination laws? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Colorado's anti-discrimination laws? | ||

| I want to see the creation of an effective water bank to help small farmers now and to conserve water for our state's future. I will work on the refinement of the ACA so that insurance companies cannot pull out of our state because of their desire to keep making record profits. I support additional funding for programs that help medical students pay their tuition if they agree to practice in underserved communities. |
